Descrierea postului:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations: Implement efficiently and effectively the programs of WV Romania
 Oversee the management of the projects in the ADP/region, ensuring their fully integration, sharing common approaches, methodologies and strategies for implementation, according with LEAP standards (projects design, quality and budget);
 Develop together with the stakeholders a local/regional strategy respecting the standards, the values, the policies and the vision of World Vision International and World Vision Romania;
 Colaborate with Marketing and Advocacy Departments( in organising the fund raising campaigns, in creating new marketing products, in identifying areas of advocay);
 Perform periodical progress evaluation and develop narative reports;
 Ensure the communication between similar projects within World Vision Romania with a view to replicate the best practices and whenever is possible to use in common the available resources.

Stewardship: Take responsibility and authority for ADP/Regional activities according with WV policies and procedures:

 Ensure that Area Program/Regional projects and activities impact children and families;
 Oversee the accountability to the community and supervision in terms of projects goals, objectives and activities;
 Ensure WV core values and principles are upheld at the project site by all staff;
 Implement audit recommendations, ensuring compliance with World Vision standards;
 Controls and supervise the implementation, at the ADP’s level, of World Vision Romania/International policies and standards and proposes disciplinary measures for inobservance;
 Ensure an efficient management of projects and budgets.

Leadership (people): Lead and increasingly people s motivation for activity:
 Facilitate the recruitment and orientation of project staff following HR hiring policies and procedures;
 Coordinate and oversee the capacity building and training of all staff and partners, respecting the Christian values;
 Analyse the need/gap of the human resource competencies in order to assure the best implementation and sustainability of WVR Regional ministry approach;
 Provide leadership in maintaining positive, constructive and supportive communication within the project team and with project shareholders;
 Develop and coordinate performance management and people planning systems;
 Coordinate change management process in the designed area;

 Organize and manage the devotional meetings in ADP in order to increase the staff knowledge about Christians values and their mission;

Representation and partnering: Represent WVR at different levels and institutions; develop partnerships with different entities:
 Liaise with local/government authorities and other stakeholders to build confidence of communities and ensure strong and effective working relationships and programs sustainability;
 Work closely with community representatives and others NGOs to ensure local ownership
 Represent and advocate at the ADP level for the children and families in need;
 Actively pursue and develop internal and external networks consistent with the vision, mission statement, core values and overall organization objectives;
 Partnership and network with other NGOs, government departments, churches and local authorities, for the well-being of children, families and communities.

Cerinte:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• At least a first Degree in Social Sciences, development field or related area of expertise;
• Post Graduate Qualifications in either Project Management or Public Administration/ Community Development will be a strong advantage;
• Strong team capacity building, coaching and supervision skills;
• Proficient in English – writing and speaking;
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Proven past leadership skills and experience;
• Program management and Community Development work in both private and public sectors;
• Innovator and calculated risk taker;
• Christian commitment;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Must have 5 years experience in managing projects, experience in managing projects in WVR is an advantage;
• Experience in program assessment, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation processes;
• Able to travel from time to time (40% travel required);
